Aamir will be promoting a flagship irrigation scheme in villages. An announcement about this development will soon be made by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. Aamir will support ‘Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan’ scheme and his aim will be making around 25,000 drought-free villages in 5 years. It’s very important to promote this project in a major way as more than 3200 farmers commit suicide every year, said State government officials.
