It is said that director Mohit Suri wanted to cast Saif Ali Khan to play the wheel-chair bound man, while Karan insisted on casting the young star-cast. Finally, Karan won and the team decided to make some changes in the original plot to cast Aditya and Varun in it.

Desi version of 'The Intouchables' will go on the floor, at once Mohit is done with the filming of Emraan Hashmi , Vidya Balan and Rajkummar Rao starrer film ' Hamari Adhuri Kahani '.
