Female foeticide is still a grave problem prevalent in our country. NGOs and social reformers have been contributing in this area by spreading awareness in the society. It seems as if the Bollywood celebrities too have started taking up their responsibilities.

Recently, Aamir Khan had discussed and highlighted this specific problem in one of the episodes of his popular show 'Satyamev Jayate'. Now it is learnt that Ajay Devgn and Kajol are set to appear in a short film, which is based on the issue of female foeticide. The Devgan couple is the brand ambassador for the Maharashtra government's 'Save the Girl Child' campaign since last year.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol are expected to start shooting for this short film by July this year. In a statement Ajay Devgn said, "We are working on the script at the moment and should be ready to roll it within a month or so. Both Kajol and I will be part of this, and we will speak about female foeticide".

Ajay Devgn and Kajol have a daughter (Nysa) and a son (Yug).
