The song 'Locha-E-Ulfat' from the upcoming movie ' 2 States ' is the first one to be shot at IIM-A (Indian Institute of Management), Ahmedabad. ' 2 States ' has become the first Bollywood film to shoot the song at IIM, Ahmedabad, reportedly.

The film is based on Chetan Bhagat 's best-seller ' 2 States ' and the tale happens at IIM, Ahmedabad. Hence, this formed one of the reasons for shooting the song at the institute. The filmmakers achieved permission to shoot the song at the institute. It was shot in the summer, so the climate was too hot. As per the reports, the team also shot in the other prime locations in the city and there were traffic jams as the crowd gathered to see the shooting.

A crew member said that "It was important to capture the life in that city and not cheat by shooting in, say Mumbai and passing it off as Ahmedabad. The local elements - people and buses - add to the realistic element of the song,"

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Abhishek Varman , the film ' 2 States ' releases on April 18.
