Earlier, we broke the ice upon Bhushan Kumar - Umesh Shukla 's deal. We mentioned about the five film deal that Bhushan offered to ' OMG Oh My God! ' director Umesh Shukla , which proved to be an unique concept drafted by the T-Series honcho. We also disclosed about its anchor release, a family drama starring Abhishek Bachchan alongside Rishi Kapoor in a peculiar father-son pair.
However, the gossip grounds were hot with rumors of Kareena Kapoor or Shraddha Kapoor to fill the pending slot for the lead pair opposite Abhishek. But soon, there were cold water poured on it by the director Shukla, who reportedly denied approaching any of them for the role.
Finally, now the sources have claimed that it's gonna be Asin Thottumkal that would romance AB junior on screen. Bhushan's tentatively titled flick 'Mere Apne' would showcase the unusual pairing of Abhi-Asin, who had earlier shared the screen, though as siblings in Rohit Shetty 's last blockbuster ' Bol Bachchan '. Hope that after this equation of siblings, the viewers would sportingly take up Asin-Abhi as an onscreen couple.
