Bollywood is always searching for beautiful locations for shooting. Some people with a fat bank balance opt for the location in foreign countries. But why go far when we have our own Switzerland in our Kashmir Valley?

As there is a peaceful environ in the Kashmir Valley, Bollywood film units prefers the Kashmir valley for their shooting purpose. According to the reports, more than six Bollywood film units will go to Kashmir for shooting by this March.

The early birds are cast and crew of the film ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani ' including actress Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor . The film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar . The entire unit has completed shooting in Gulmarg and after enjoying an elegant dinner with the J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah, they have shifted to Pahalgam for the next schedule. They shot a few sequences in the famous 'Betaab Valley', Chandanwari and in Aru Valley.

Several old films like Junglee, Mere Sanam and Kashmir ki Kali were previously shot in the Kashmir Valley but after the eruption of violence in Kashmir, b-town units preferred foreign locations.

But since last year many units of Bollywood films visited Kashmir for shooting. Few examples are the teams of ' Jab Tak Hai Jaan ' and ' Rockstar '.
