Deepika Padukone to star in 'Shuddhi'
Leggy lass Deepika Padukone will essay the female lead in Karan Malhotra's 'Shuddhi'. The male lead is yet to be finalized.

The latest reports said that the leggy lass Deepika Padukone will play the female lead in Karan Malhotra 's next venture ' Shuddhi '. The film was much in talks over various news updates in the meanwhile, like Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor walking out of the project and all.
Currently, the dimpled beauty Deepika is busy shooting for Farah Khan 's ' Happy New Year '. Then, she will work on the film in which she will be paired opposite her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor . Post this, she will be busy with Shoojit Sircar 's 'Piku' and then, Deepika will start shooting for ' Shuddhi ', as per the reports. By the end of this year, the film is expected to hit the floors. The male lead for ' Shuddhi ' is yet to decide. The film is said to be a reincarnation tale.
' Shuddhi ' is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions by Karan Johar .
