In order to make it really big, the next release has to commence a trend with higher value. The recent sci-fi wonder ' Krrish 3 ' starring desi superhero Hrithik Roshan whipped the cream at the box office by crossing whopping 500 crore mark within a short period of time.
And here comes the next major player to taste the super success in the race, the upcoming fast-paced thriller ' Dhoom 3 ' with Aamir Khan as its powerful arm. Apparently, ' Dhoom 3 ' is the very first flick to release in IMAX format. Apart from this, the movie is alluring huge chunk of buzz over Bollywood's most expensive song "Malang" in the film, Aamir Khan 's electrifying stunts on his sturdy bike and Katrina Kaif 's sizzling dance number. If the sources from industry are to be believed, the ticket prices for ' Dhoom 3 ' are anticipated to be skyrocketed as Rs. 500 at regular multiplexes. However, a close source claimed that till now, no decision has been taken regarding the ticket prices of the film, but they may increase due to Christmas holidays around the corner.
Rafiq Gangjee, a spokesperson from YRF said that the exhibitors are yet to arrive at a decision. He added that earlier, the movies like ' Ek Tha Tiger ', ' Son Of Sardaar ', ' Jab Tak Hai Jaan ' and ' Talaash ' released with higher ticket rates.
