Harshvardhan Kapoor to play the role of Abhinav Bindra, in his biopic!

Though it wasn’t such well received welcome for Harshvardhan Kapoor when he debuts with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya last year, critics did not failed to notice his talent and see the potential he has. In spite of a dragged start, Harshvardhan Kapoor is still hopeful and positive, yet being choosy about the kind of role he chose and peculiar about signing projects. And if sources are to believed, then he might be assigned to play lead in biopic of Indian professional shooter and businessman Abhinav Bindra and his father, Anil Kapoor , is mostly to play the role of Abhinav’s father in this yet untitled biopic, as confirmed when being asked Dadasaheb Phalke Award Ceremony, he confirmed, “It's too early to speak about the film. Once everything is finalized, I'll talk about it. But talks are on!”
Abhinav Bindra has represented India in World, Olympic and Commonwealth games in the 10 m Air Rifle events and despite being a celebrated sportsperson, he is also a well-known businessman and CEO of Abhinav Futuristics. Since tracking the success of recent sportsman biopics, it seems legit to make a biopic of one of the most celebrated sportsman. And considering the kind of efforts and dedication Harshvardhan Kapoor can put in the making, it would be the right casting for the role.
