Bollywood's handsome hunk John Abraham recently received another feather in his cap. The actor was recently titled as the Creative Entrepreneur Of The Year. John received this title at an award function held at New Delhi. John has recently turned producer for the movie ' Vicky Donor ' . The movie has got a lot of critical appreciation and accolades from one and all. ' Vicky Donor ' has recently won the prestigious National Award.
On receiving the award John expressed that he likes to call the film industry as the 'Indian Film Industry' instead of Bollywood. He said that the only thing which he wants to change about Bollywood is its name. He also said that we need to call it the Indian Film Industry and for that we must create the content which is genuine and original. He also expressed that if someone wants to take inspiration from other film industries or want to make the remakes of films from other film industries then we must pay them for it.
John suggested that how the certain changes in the technologies can change the scenario of today's showbiz in India. According to him, the technologies used in Hollywood or other countries is far ahead and progressed than us. Hence we also should move ahead in terms of originality of the content and the technology.
John was speaking at the event, where eminent personalities like Anand Mahindra, Kumar Mangalam Birla , Mallika Srinivasan and N. Chandrasekaran also marked their presence.
