John Credits 'Vicky Donor' Team for the National Award
No one knew that a film on a sperm donor with a debut Actor and Producer will take everyone by surprise due to its success record. Recently John Abraham's debut production 'Vicky Donor', starring debutante Ayushman Khurana, directed by Shoojit Sircar won 3 National Awards.

No one knew that a film on a sperm donor with a debut Actor and Producer will take everyone by surprise due to its success record. Recently John Abraham 's debut production ' Vicky Donor ', starring debutante Ayushman Khurana , directed by Shoojit Sircar won 3 National Awards.
John was way happy with the film getting the most prestigious award that too, 3 awards. But he credited the entire team for the outcome and film's success. The film won National Award for the Best Film providing wholesome entertainment. John said that receiving an award for wholesome entertainment, it could not have been better than that. He felt great to be recognized nationally.
The other awards were won by Annu Kapoor and Dolly Ahluwalia for the best supporting Actors and Actress, respectively.
