Kalki Koehlin wins 'Best Actress Award' at TBNFF

Kalki Koechlin , who is mainly seen in the supporting role in Hindi commercial films has now bagged a 'Best Actress Award' at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (TBNFF) in Estonia for her internationally acclaimed film 'Margarita With A Straw'.

Taking to Twitter, Kalki wrote "Yay!!! 'The Best Actress went to Kalki Koechlin for her role in "Margarita, with a Straw" (India).' Black Nights Film Festival Tallinn."

'Margarita With A Staw' revolves around a handicap girl Laila played by Kalki, who is a teenager with cerebral palsy. The film unfolds her daring journey through academic, sexual and emotional self-discovery as she pursues the aims of her life. It gives out an inspiring message that being a handicap cannot limit that person's dream.
