Kangana Ranaut to essay real life queen in 'Rani Lakshmibai'

It was in Vikas Bahl 's directorial ' Queen ', Kangana Ranaut garnered loads of praises for her stellar performance. And now, Kangana Ranaut is all set to play real life queen in the upcoming film ' Rani Lakshmibai ' by Ketan Mehta , as per the report.
Kangana will be seen donning the attire of strong headed warrior Rani Lakshmibai . The actress will be playing a mother as well as a warrior in this film. Kangana is reportedly taking lessons for horse riding, sword fighting to play her role in a perfect manner. Co-incidentally Vishal Bhardwaj 's period love tale ' Rangoon ' also requires Kangana to learn all these skills. She is glad to use these skills also in ' Rani Lakshmibai '. The film is expected to hit the floors in the next year.
Kangana Ranaut will also be featuring in the film ' Simran ' by Hansal Mehta . In this, she portrays a bank robber.
