' Dostana ' sequel was in the news for being made soon. But according to the grapevine, now it's shooting may be delayed. The reason for the delay is not any actor's date problem but the expulsion of the ' Dostana ' director Tarun Mansukhani from the Dharma Productions .
Yes, there is buzz that the filmmaker Karan Johar has fired Mr. Mansukhani as he had been apparently approaching other producers for ' Dostana ' sequel because he was getting impatient to start work on the project.
According to source, Tarun was also not happy with his mentor KJo. He felt that instead of focusing on ' Dostana ' sequel, KJo was busy promoting younger directors like Ayan Mukherjee , Shakun Batra and Karan Malhotra . He started growing impatient as he had to re-work on the script a couple of times and still had to wait for the film to move on.
Now the audiences will have to wait and watch what turn it takes about the filming of ' Dostana ' sequel. Whether KJo ropes in a new director and starts it soon or shelves it forever remains suspense at present.
