Katrina Kaif was spotted at Gateway of India in Mumbai while shooting her upcoming film ' Phantom '. Directed by Kabir Khan , the film is based on geo-political consequences of 26/11 terror-attack that occurred in the city in the year 2008.
Adjacent to Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel was one of the attacked areas in 26/11 mishap. Therefore, an important scene where Katrina arrives at the crime spot with few other cops was supposed to be shot here. Taking in note the sensitivity of the location, procuring permissions were taken months in advance and to avoid the star-gazers the unit began the shoot early morning on Sunday. The filming process was carried in the crack of the dawn at 5:30 am and till 8:30 am the crew finished shooting the scene without any hiccups.
' Phantom ' also stars Saif Ali Khan and is currently getting filmed in the recreated Lahore set at Filmistan Studio in Goregaon.
