'Lakshmi' to be screened in NGOs and red-light areas

\'Lakshmi\' directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, is going to be screened at some NGOs and even in red-light areas for empowering affected women to fight against the injustice.

' Iqbal ' fame director Nagesh Kukunoor is soon coming up with his next brand new outing and it is titled as ' Lakshmi '. As per the latest news update, the official trailer of the film is unleashed and the antagonist of the flick, Satish Kaushik revealed that the makers will arrange a special screening of the movie in some NGOs and even in some red-light areas.

The film ' Lakshmi ' speaks about the sex trade and child trafficking issue. Mr. Kaushik explained the reason behind holding the screening of the film by stating that they will attempt to do screening of ' Lakshmi ' for some NGOs and red-light areas, as the main purpose is to spread awareness among the affected women and provide them with enough courage to fight against their problems. Kaushik also revealed that after seeing fight of the lead character Lakshmi, these women can achieve the spirit to combat against the ill treatment given to them in their lives.

Monali Thakur will be rendering the role of the lead lady Lakshmi in the film ' Lakshmi '. This is a story about a teenager, who gets kidnapped and sold to a brothel. It narrates Lakshmi's complicated life journey and the way she gains the stregnth to speak about her problems and snatch justice.
