'Lootera' edited by 20 minutes
Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming directorial venture 'Lootera' starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha has been cut short by 20 minutes to achieve the perfect running time.

As per the buzz, to attain that perfect running time the filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane 's upcoming ' Lootera ' has been edited by 20 minutes. The source close to the film has confirmed the news saying that the final edition of ' Lootera ' has been cut short by 20 minutes to attain the ideal running time.
The reports claim that previously, the duration of ' Lootera ' was almost 2 hours and 35 minutes. The director Motwane was in a dilemma about what to remove and what to preserve as every scene from his directorial venture seemed to be perfect to him. He didn't wish any of the scenes to remove. But, as being practical was a need of the hour, the producers of the film successfully convinced Vikramaditya to make it swift and appealing. In addition to this, the short running time ensures more shows in the theatres which at the end will increase revenues and footfalls. This practical thinking of producers made Vikramaditya to change his decision of retaining every scene.
Now, the final running time of ' Lootera ' is calculated as approximately 135 minutes. The censor board too gave it U/A certificate and ordered no cuts for it. ' Lootera ' starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha will hit the screens on 5th July.
