Must Read: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt been paired again to play the lead in Shiddat!

There has been quite a buzz about Abhishek Varman ’s still in pre-production venture Shiddat , and particularly about its lead casting. Permutation been changed drastically and finally two out of three in the leads were finalized, and they are Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan . Shiddat would a romantic drama film with love triangle, and though the film is in scripting phase the confusion about third lead is still on.

Earlier, Varun Dhavan , Jhanvi Kapoor, and Aditya Roy Kapur were considered for the lead. But due to some reason Jhanvi Kapoor was swapped out with Alia Bhatt and the team is still at turmoil to cast Aditya Roy Kapur or Arjun Kapoor! Most likely, Arjun Kapoor would be featured as he worked with both, Abhishek Varman and Alia Bhatt . But Aditya Roy Kapur would also fit the bill! Although, as per bankability goes, the on-screen pairing of Varun and Alia never failed to impress both, critics and masses, it would be logical to cast them in a romantic genre film.

Shiddat would be Abhishek Varman ’s second directorial venture after critically and commercially praised hit, 2 States, and since he is also said to be working on writing aspect too, the audience can surely expect to bring something new to ‘Bollywood’s Love Triangle’ plot. The film would be produced by Dharma Productions in association with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and film is expected to be released in last quarter of 2018.
