Nana Patekar and Huma Qureshi been signed for Rajinikanth’s Kaala Karikaalan!

It wasn’t simply expected by anyone but it happens! It is now confirmed by the makers of Rajinikanth ’s upcoming film Kaala Karikaalan that Nana Patekar has been signed for a role and Huma Qureshi already being cast as leading lady in the film. Indeed, avid Bollywood buffs are head over heels to watch these actors on screen.
The sources have revealed that Rajinikanth has joined the sets and he came to Mumbai last evening from Chennai. The shooting will be in a week-long schedule where the makers will shoot some general scenes that require Mumbai as the backdrop. On the Chennai’s end, art directors already have constructed Mumbai’s slum set worth 5 crores. And as the backdrop and aesthetic suggest, it’ll be a hard-core gangster drama expected to be a gritty and dark tone considering the persona of Thalaiva.
As far as we got out hands on the basic plotline, it would be a story of an underdog who comes to Mumbai and grows up to rule over it, as an undisputed don. Though Nana’s part would be a supporting role, as we all know that fact that no matter Nana is in the film for a supporting role or just for a cameo, he has a natural talent to dominate the screen time. Hence it would be interesting to see when these two legends are in one frame.
Though producer Dhanush and director Pa. Ranjith didn’t disclose a release date, it is said to be releasing next year, but almost every cine-goer would be excited to see these two legends clashing with each other and creating epic monologs.
