The official announcement of release dates of two forthcoming grand films during the Eid festival created a flicker in the Bollywood industry and among the masses. The film fraternity and audience anticipated the clash between two sturdy movies with diverse genre - ' Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again ' by Ekta Kapoor and ' Chennai Express ' by Rohit Shetty . Fortunately, the probable clash between these two titans has been avoided by Balaji Production head Ekta Kapoor and now these films will quiver the silver screens on two different dates.
After many meetings and discussions from last three months, Ekta decided to change the release date of her much-ambitious movie, ' Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again '. Now, the crime-thriller will hit the screens on Independence Day 15 August 2013, which is a week later of its earlier release date 8 August 2013. However, ' Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again ' is likely to lock horns with the other release ' Kaanchi ' by Subhash Ghai . Ekta Kapoor came up with this wise decision in order to devote enough space to audience of these two majestic movies. Also it will reduce possibility of eating out each other's share of profit.
The crime-saga ' Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again ' directed by Milan Luthria stars Akshay Kumar , Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles, while the rom-com ' Chennai Express ' features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone .
