The buzz and controversies are still mounting over ‘ Padmavati ’. The continuous trouble around the film forced the makers to shift its release dates. Though the new release dates are no revealed, a few days ago Viacom 18 confirmed the news of postponing the film. Yesterday a rumour riffed off the internet that Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s ‘ Padmavati ’ will hit the screens on its original date, i.e. on 1st December in Britain. Though the film has already been awarded a certificate by British Censors and it can keep the date of December 1 there if not in India. But the makers are in no mood to release the film before it hits the theatre in India.

Let us clear if you have any bit of confusion about the release of the film. Despite getting a clean chit from British Censor Boards, the makers of ‘ Padmavati ’ will only release the film once they get the clearance from CBFC. Censor Chief Prasoon Joshi has yesterday said, "The board should be given adequate time to come up with a balanced decision about the movie."

Noted trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, had explained why the delaying of the release was warranted here. He writes on Twitter, "@viacom18 will release #Padmavati early next year. 1. Censor certificate has to be obtained. 2. Political and Protest situations will be taken into account. 3. A Suitable Free Friday date needs to be identified. 4. @viamcom USA HQ will make the final call.”

We feel the makers have made the right decision, the film can also get into other troubles like piracy and many more if they let the film to have an early release in any other part of the word.
