Playing a romantic at 60 was challenging says Rishi Kapoor.

Yesteryears romantic hero Rishi Kapoor will be seen playing a romantic guy in his next release. Rishi will be playing the character of a retired sailor who is a bachelor in David Dhawan's upcoming movie 'Chashme Baddoor'.

Yesteryears romantic hero Rishi Kapoor will be seen playing a romantic guy in his next release. Rishi will be playing the character of a retired sailor who is a bachelor in David Dhawan 's upcoming movie ' Chashme Baddoor '. Rishi will be seen wearing tattoos and will be riding a Harley - Davidson in ' Chashme Baddoor '. The senior actor says that he does not like to play the typical father roles now and wants to explore more versatile characters.

The talented actor says that it was a challenge for him to play the romantic guy at the age of 60. He says that it was something he was known for in his prime. He will be essaying the character of Joseph Furtado from Goa who is a retired sailor and finds his love in Josephine essayed by Lillete Dubey . Rishi's character is inspired from the actress's Sunny Leone 's husband Daniel Weber who has tattoos all over his body. Rishi told David that he wants to portray this look in the film and David instantly gave a nod. He got tattoos of a bikini clad woman and an anchor on his hand. He learnt a little bit of Konkani for his role as well. But in his real life, Rishi does not like tattooing at all. According to him its just a fad and marketing, nothing more than that. He says that one should not spoil the God gifted body by tattooing all over. For this film, Rishi even did tap dancing.

' Chashme Baddoor ' is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and will be released on 5th of April.
