Post breakup, Ranbir Kapoor openly speaks about Katrina Kaif and Jagga Jasoos

When Bollywood’s much in-love couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif parted ways, it took everyone by surprise and left their well-wishers saddened. However, the one who got deeply affected by their break up was none other than director Anurag Basu, as his film Jagga Jasoos was then still in the filming process. Post their breakup, several news of this ex-couple refusing to act and promote the film together were doing rounds. Even they both kept mum when asked about their breakup at the recent Koffee With Karan show. So after much of silence and speculations, here is Ranbir speaking openly about his ex Katrina and their film Jagga Jasoos .

Last evening, Ranbir opened his heart out at an award function. Firstly, speaking about his much-delayed film, he said, "The movie is all set to release on July 14. Yesterday was the last day of 'Jagga Jasoos' shoot. I am very happy with how it has turned out. We all know that it is my first film as producer and I hope everyone supports and loves the film. I hope that the audience likes it too."

And next, when he was asked about promoting the film with his ex-girlfriend Katrina, he quickly replied, "Katrina has worked very hard on the film. The film is hers as much as it is mine. We will promote it really well, and release it well too. When we make a film, we make it with lots of love and sincerity. We would like to put it across in the best way possible."

It’s commendable to see this former couple respecting each other’s work and personal space.
