The upcoming film ' Gunday ' is set in 1970's and 1980's in then Calcutta. To match the storyline, the incidents are designed keeping in mind that era. Hence, the film will display French groups performing live in the city. The clubs and cabarets were the prime attraction of this city. As told by the veterans, some big events used to happen in a popular club called 'Tinka'.
The film has one more element to add spice in it and it's Priyanka Chopra turning a cabaret dancer. The stage and setting have been developed like 'Tinka' club, where Priyanka will be grooving on a French cabaret, reportedly. A close source informed that "Vintage feel of the film and the city is a major reason why Yash Raj Films took a call to bring on a different dimension to Priyanka's moves in Gunday . She has one such exquisite dance number in the film and though it is retro, it has a European feel to it," The director Ali Abbas Zafar said that a major dance troupe from France arrived for this shoot for rendering an authentic touch to the song.
Undoubtedly, Priyanka done extensive rehearsals for getting the perfect international dance moves for this vibrant song and dance sequence. PeeCee ensured to make this track delighting for the audience. This special song is expected to unravel in January.
