Ranbir and Kareena to Play Reel-Life Brother and Sister in Joya Akhtar's Next Film
Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ was commercially successful and had received critical acclamation as well. Currently she is working on her next script for which she is planning to cast the real-life cousins Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor as reel-life brother and sister.

Zoya Akhtar 's ' Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara ' was commercially successful and had received critical acclamation as well. Currently she is working on her next script for which she is planning to cast the real-life cousins Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor as reel-life brother and sister.
Ranbir and Kareena are considered for the cast of Joya's next project but it doesn't mean that the movie will depict their real life story. In fact, the sources say that the movie would actually be an autobiographical one, based on the lives of the real-life siblings Zoya and Farhan Akhtar .
Apparently, the film will be based on the growing up years of Farhan and Joya, it won't be a blow-by-blow account of them. The source claimed it to be a very sensitive script, which will draw liberally on some of the emotional conflicts and the bonding instances in Farhan and Zoya's real life.
Kareena Kapoor is quite excited to work with her cousin Ranbir and was quoted saying, "I'm very keen that Zoya finishes her script soon. I'm constantly in touch with her. It's a terrific script, and I'm dying to work with Ranbir.''
