Ranveer Singh to host the Gionee Star GiMA Awards 2014
The fresh talent Ranveer Singh will be hosting the 4th edition of Gionee Star Global Indian Music Awards in Mumbai on January 20.

Ranveer Singh has become the talk of the town since his memorable performance in the recent blockbuster ' Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela '. The actor knows no looking back now, as he is gaining praises and roses from his fans. Here comes one more reason for the actor to rejoice. Reportedly, Ranveer Singh will be hosting the 4th edition of the Gionee Star Global Indian Music Awards (GiMA) at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) Stadium in Mumbai on January 20.
Ranveer is stepping in the shoes of a host for the second time in an award function. Prior to this, the 2nd edition of the awards was hosted by Ranveer. He described the experience of hosting once again the award function as " A huge honour to be invited back". He further added that "The last time around was thrilling as I got to interact with the best musicians and singers this country has on offer. The Gionee Star GiMA is such a great platform and I am happy to celebrate an integral part of the Indian culture with the biggest names in music today," GiMA awards ceremony provides a platform to celebrate the talent the artistes possess and crosses the boundaries of music via non-film music and movies.
The 4th edition of GiMA awards will be presenting 13 awards in non-film music category and 11 awards in the film music category.
