The eminent filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his lavish, grand shooting sets, is soon arriving with his much-discussed future project Padmavati. The film is said to star Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead. There is no official confirmation about it. As per the buzz, Ranveer will essay Alauddin Khilji in this flick.

The flick Padmavati revolves around the obsession of the ruthless ruler Alauddin Khilji for Mewar queen Padmavati, reportedly. The shooting of this venture was supposed to take place in Film City, Mumabi, but, it was reportedly booked. Hence, the venue of shooting was then shifted to Mehboob Studios. The work of erecting the sets for Padmavati is in full swing. The team of the film may move to Film City depending upon the availability of the set, as per the report.

Ranveer Singh will have a bearded look for this role and, will devote 200 days for shooting of this flick, revealed the report. The buzz said that Shahid Kapoor will appear in a key role in Padmavati.
