BollywoodMDB has been reporting our readers with all the latest updates regarding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus Padmavati . The movie will feature Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The latest update is that, Shahid Kapoor who plays Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar, has wrapped up first schedule of the movie.
Shahid informed this news via his Instagram account. He wrote: "Night shoots and morning wraps. #padmavati first sched wraps today. Loving it".
Ranveer Singh will essay the character of Alauddin Khilji and Deepika Padukone will perform the role of and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh in this historical drama. Aditi Rao Hyderi plays Khilji's favourite wife in the movie.
Padmavati has been scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
