It was a treat to the eyes of the audiences who watched the grand opening ceremony of the IPL (Indian Premiere League) 6 in Kolkata, on 2nd April. Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan along with Bollywood beauties like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone gave a spectacular performance at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The Salt Lake Stadium is the world's second largest stadium where the IPL's 6th edition opening ceremony.
The ceremony was a gala affair which had music, fanfare and fireworks. In this spectacular ceremony, the famous rapper Pitbull also gave a splendid performance. More than 65,000 spectators enjoyed the ceremony in the stadium.
