Today when women are proving themselves in the different spheres of their lives, the world has acknowledged and recognizing that women are individuals too and they have an equal right to happiness says the very talented actress Vidya Balan . According to her, at this stage, in the film industry as well, women are taking the center stage. The talented actress feels that women should acknowledge their own strengths and feel proud for being a woman.

Vidya has delivered the splendid performances in the films like ' Paa ' and ' The Dirty Picture '. She says that she does not feel the peer pressure at all as she only chooses good scripts. She says that she is really happy that she is living her dream to become an actress. She says that the feeling is really wonderful. Vidya feels that not the actor or actress is a box office king or queen, but good films and good scripts are the king and queen of the box office. She says that she is really fortunate to be a vital part of good films.

Vidya, the 34 year old skilled actress has debuted in the film industry with ' Parineeta ' says that she has done a lot of struggle in her career. It was not a cake walk for her in her journey in Bollywood. Vidya was a pivotal part of woman centric films like ' Kahaani ' ,' The Dirty Picture ' and ' Ishqiya '.
