The rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh garnered a lot of praise for his music albums and he has reached great heights of stardom in a short period. Many of his songs have been under the scanner of moral police as they sometimes felt vulgarity in the lyrics of his songs.

An interesting thing about Honey Singh's music is that Uttarakhand farmers play the music of Yo Yo Honey Singh and other Punjabi singers on loudspeakers to scare the wild animals that create havoc. These farmers scare the animals like jackal, wild boars, nilgai and other animals, who have 'invaded' their agricultural land.

The reason behind this is these wild animals usually avoid places where they sense human habitat and playing music creates a feel of human presence in that place so that animals avoid the place. The songs with loud party music and bhajans are played by these farmers.
