A royal like no other; Ponniyin Selvan’s star Trisha Krishnan looks stunning in the new poster
The film ‘PS-1’ by Mani Ratnam has fans' attention from just character posters. The makers of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ have unveiled a new poster of Trisha’s character, Princess Kundavi. She looks like absolute royalty, to say the least.
The makers shared on Twitter, "In a world of men, a woman of courage. Presenting Princess Kundavai! #PS1 releasing in theatres on 30th September in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada!"
The film is currently gearing up for promotions and is set to release in theatres on September 30. The makers shared new posters and introduced Chiyaan Vikram as Chola crown prince Aditya Karikalan, Karthi as Vanthiyathevan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as queen Nandini.
The shoot for the film wrapped up after three years. The film's first part is set to release on 30th September. The film will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Ponniyin Selvan is based on a historical fiction novel of the same name, written by author Kalki Krishnamurthy. The novel tells the story of Rajaraja Chola I of the Chola dynasty.
The film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Trisha Krishnan, Mohan Babu and Aishwarya Rai among others. A.R Rahman is providing the music and Ravi Varma is the cinematographer for the film.
