Adipurush: Ajay-Atul COMPOSER Of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ REACTS To Its Success; Says ‘A Scary Song’
The grand release of Om Raut's ‘Adipurush’ is scheduled for today. Since the trailer debuted, the movie has been making news for both good and bad reasons. The song from the film Jai Shri Ram enthralled and awed the viewers. Ajay-Atul, the song's composer, has now spoken out about the song's success.
Recently, In an interview, Ajay reacted to the success of the song ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ explaining why it makes him both happy and scared. He mentioned, “When Zingaat came, everyone was scared of that song, except us. But then we were told to make a song that can beat Zingaat. But even we couldn’t do it. Zingaat was a scary song. And now, Jai Shri Ram is a scary song.”

He added, “You always have to raise your bar and go forward from where you are. You cannot always celebrate (past laurels). Every day comes with new challenges and you expect something new from yourself and we always choose something like that.”
Ajay said, “We also didn’t have the reference of someone else’s work in this. Though some great songs have been made (on Lord Ram), when it comes to cinematic language, we are the first. So, we were not scared of any comparison and were happy to create our own canvas.”
'Adipurush,' directed by Om Raut, stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, and Sunny Singh among a strong ensemble. The film is the most expensive in Bollywood thanks to its gigantic Rs 500 crore budget.
The movie was only launched in theatres today, June 16,2023 and the audience has so far reacted differently to it. Some viewers have praised the background music while others have expressed disappointment with the 'cartoon type' VFX.
