Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise (2021) was one of the record shattering hits of 2021. The sequel to the film, Pushpa: The Rule, has started filming. The most recent reports suggest that the film's star cast has increased their pay. The producer has heard from Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and the director Sukumar regarding their demands. According to some sources, Allu Arjun has a demand of Rs. 90 crore, while others claim he has a whopping Rs. 125 crore.

Rashmika Mandanna has made an offer worth between Rs. 3 and 5 crore. Sukumar, the director, is also asking for a compensation increase of up to Rs. 40–50 crore.

For the first instalment of the film, Sukumar, the director , set the price at Rs. 18 crore, whereas Rashmika demanded Rs. 2 crore and Allu Arjun demanded Rs. 50 crore. Pushpa: The Rise brought in Rs. 33 crore on its first day of release and ended up with Rs. 108 crore overall.

Pushpa: The Rise, a 2021 release that was a smash hit, quickly joined the Rs. 100 crore club. Oo Antava, the chart-topping number starring Samantha and Allu Arjun, is one of the crowd's favourites. After Vikram (2022) and KFG 2 (2022), it continues to rank among the most watched films.

Pushpa: The Rise's budget was in the range of 200 crore rupees. According to sources, the sequel to Pushpa's production alone could cost up to 200 crore rupees. The high star cast compensation will raise Pushpa: The Rule's overall budget.
