Allu Arjun received an invitation to serve as grand marshal for the nation at the yearly India Day parade in New York.

One of India's most popular movie stars is Allu Arjun. His box office hit Pushpa: The Rise brought (2021) in ₹300 crores globally. The Telugu actor recently visited New York, where he joined in the India Day parade, one of the most well-known yearly events hosted by the Indian diaspora in the US. Allu uploaded videos from the celebration of India's 75th anniversary of independence on Sunday.

Allu and his wife Sneha Reddy attended the procession where the actor received the honor of serving as grand marshal. On Instagram Stories, the Son Of Satyamurthy (2015) actor posted a clip of himself waving the national flag during the march. He captioned, “It was an honour being the grand marshal at the India Day parade in New York.”

In the two videos he shared, the actor, who was dressed in white, could be seen waving to fans who were shouting for and taking pictures of the star. Sneha accompanied Allu on an open-top vehicle while she was dressed in yellow for the India Day parade.

Allu could be seen on LED screens at Times Square in New York in some videos posted on fan pages. After seeing the actor on the screens, his fans, many of whom were dressed in traditional Indian attire, cheered for him.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is currently working on Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rule.
