Allu Arjun speaks on working in Bollywood and says, ‘I’ll go all out’
Although Allu Arjun has long been a well-known figure in the Hindi-speaking area, it was Pushpa: The Rise that really put him to the proof monetarily. After a sluggish beginning, the Hindi version of the movie went on to gross over 100 crores, turning it into a smash hit. In a recent interview, the actor has recently spoken out about trying his luck in Bollywood, and his remarks will delight moviegoers. The Telugu star said, “Acting in Hindi is a little out of my comfort zone for now, but once there is a requirement, I’ll go all-out.”
The Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise defied many industry experts' predictions by opening at roughly Rs 3 crore. The Hindi version generated fantastic word-of-mouth from the audience and performed admirably on single screens throughout north India. At a period when even the films of the greatest Bollywood actors were having trouble breaking even at the box office in the north, the movie eventually brought in more than Rs 108 crore.
Additionally, the movie won Film of The Year at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022. Allu Arjun's superstardom, the compelling story, the effortless dance sequences in the chart-toppers Oo Antava and Srivalli, the popular dialogues like jhukega nahi main saala or the actor's scorching chemistry with Rashmika Mandanna all contributed to the film's enormous success, which also made it one of the most trending movies of 2021.
Pushpa: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2023. Sukumar, the director, plans to start shooting the movie in late July or early August. A massive budget of Rs 350 crore will reportedly be used to produce the movie. Pushpa's creators, however, have not provided a financial update. Sukumar is reportedly now polishing the script for Pushpa: The Rule.
