Since being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has kept a low profile, but she recently made a public appearance on Twitter to engage with her followers. Following her diagnosis, she is now concentrating on her health, and it has been rumored that she will no longer be appearing in Citadel, starring Varun Dhawan. The Yashoda actress recently launched a scathing attack on a troll on the microblogging website who she claimed was meant to demoralize women while chatting with her admirers.

Samantha connects with fans via Twitter

On Monday, the actress responded to a number of tweets, including one from a fan who shared a picture of two movie posters with strong women. The promos for Connect, starring Nayanthara, and Raangi, starring Trishna, were displayed. He tweeted about it and said: "My sister and I noticed the banners for all the films with female leads as we drove past the Vettri theatre in Chromepet, Chennai. What progress Tamil film has made! This would have been unthinkable ten years ago." Samantha answered by writing "Women Rising!" and using the heart-hands emoji.

A troll, however, answered, "Yes. just to fall." Samantha responded, "Getting back up makes it all the sweeter dear friend," in response. Fans praised her for her impressive recovery. Samantha’s work front

Samantha’s next big screen film Shaakuntalam is set to hit the theatres ON February 17, 2023. The film is written and directed by award-winning director Gunasekhar and is based on Kalidasa's well-known Sanskrit play Abhijnana Shakuntalam (Rudhramadevi). The epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant is the focus of the movie "Shakuntalam," which stars Samantha from Yashoda and Dev Mohan from the popular Sufiyum Sujatayum.
