Several projects are being managed at once by Shruti Haasan. She will be seen as the leading lady in Prashanth Neel's Salaar, where she will be seen romancing Prabhas. After being repeatedly postponed, the action comedy will eventually open in theatres on September 28, 2023. Vijay Kiragandur, who operates Hombale Films, provided the funding for Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. In addition to Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao in supporting roles.
In addition, Shruti Haasan has agreed to play the lead in Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBK107 and Chiru154, both of which will star Megastar Chiranjeevi.
