The South's film sector is now glistening like a bright star following the lockup era. Every other film is receiving positive reviews from the public and breaking box office records. The audience gets the correct bundle from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, which include content, entertainment, and experiences that are out of this world. Bollywood does not have the same number of films that have become box-office successes and received unanimous audience approval.

Bollywood is still in its infancy. Still, South films have shattered the glass ceiling with back-to-back hits. Blockbusters produced in southern cities and characterized by superhero characters, mythology, violence, romance, and breathtaking visual effects lure audiences back to the big screen, whether it is for Pushpa, an action drama, or Sita Ramam, a timeless love story. And that is all that is required after a gloomy spell of two years.

While certain films, particularly those that were predicted, became box office hits, other films found an audience for their content. Consider the most recent Kannada movie, Kantara. However, several popular films with prominent heroes, including Acharya, Liger, and Most Eligible Bachelor, underperformed. Therefore, as the audience has said, content is king. In light of this, here are a few films recommended by the audience that you should avoid at all costs. Look at this:

Kantara

Kantara, a Kannada thriller that debuted on September 30 with the biggest film of the year, Ponniyin Selvan: I, is getting overwhelmingly positive reviews from both the general public and reviewers. Kantara is proving a significant box office success in Karnataka, where the movie pulls in the highest numbers.

The director of Kantara is Rishab Shetty. The movie, in which Kishore, Sapthami Gowda, and Achyuth Kumar play critical roles, is a story that takes place in a fictional forest named Kantara, where certain customs lead to a battle between man and nature. Homable Films, the KGF-famous producers, are funding it.

Sita Ramam

Although Sita Ramam was predicted to perform well, this success was unexpected. The audience responded well to the romance movie's timeless love narrative, chemistry, and acting. Hanu Raghavapudi is the writer and director of the film Sita Ramam, in which Dulquer Salmaan plays Lieutenant Ram, an Indian army soldier stationed at the Kashmir border who receives love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi, played by Mrunal Thakur, in the form of anonymity. Rashmika Mandanna appears in the movie as well.

Don't miss this movie if you enjoy romantic movies. The audience adored this treasure.

Bimbisara

The Telugu movie Bimbisara, which stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, also performed remarkably well.

The time travel-themed periodic film, directed by Mallidi Vasishta, had a successful run in theatres and set a box office record of Rs. 50 crore. Samyuktha Menon, Catherine Tresa, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and Prakash Raj appear. The film is based on the life of Bimbisara, who lived in the fifth century BC and could travel across time to the present. Bimbisara was the emperor of the Magadha Kingdom.

Karthikeya 2

Because it is a sequel to the 2018 film Karthikeya 2, Karthikeya 2, the mythical movie starring Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama, was one of the most eagerly awaited in Tollywood. As the first part was a great hit, it was anticipated to do well in Telugu states, but it also impressed the Hindi belt. The movie received acclaim from viewers around the country and became the biggest hit of 2022 with RRR, KGF, and other stars.

According to reports, Karthikeya 2 made 140 crore rupees. When you consider that the movie's budget was less than Rs. 50 crore, it is a big success. In Karthikeya 2, a young doctor who enjoys unraveling the complex puzzles of human existence is the main character.

Thiruchitrambalam

Speaking of family dramas, Thiruchitrambalam, starring Dhanush, Nithya Menen, and Raashii Khanna, was released on August 18 and is full of heart, goodness, and old-fashioned camaraderie, fun, and feel-good romance. Expectations for Thiruchitrambalam were low following Dhanush's two poor movies, yet it managed to succeed with a strong debut and excellent reviews. The movie is a straightforward, joyful tale of a "common guy and woman," complete with real-world events and enjoyable music.

Simple and fundamental are everything in some situations. One is aware that there is always hope for little movies if the material is compelling when a celebrity like Dhanush supports a film that is not "pan-Indian" but is incredibly universal in its emotional appeal.
