Karthi gifts luxury watch to Yuvan Raja to commemorate his 25th year in films
Ace composer Yuvan Shankar Raja recently marked his 25th year of association with films. What made the occasion more special and memorable was the gift that Yuvan received from actor Karthi - a luxury watch.
Karthi has a very old bonding with the composer as the duo has been friends since school days. Yuvan had also scored the music of Karthi's debut film Paruthiveeran and has composed the music for many of his films like Paiyya (2010), Naan Mahaan Alla (2010) and Biriyani (2013), besides the upcoming movie Viruman (2022).
Coming to Viruman, the film is a Tamil-language action drama written and directed by M. Muthaiah and starring Karthi, Aditi Shankar, Prakash Raj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori and Karunas. Produced by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment, Viruman is all set to release on 31 August 2022.
After Viruman, Karthi will be seen in magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan (2022) directed by Mani Ratnam. The much anticipated film also stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and others in important roles.
