Michael: Gautham Menon joins Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi on the cast of pan-India film

Menon has previously acted in such films as Trance (Malayalam) and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (Tamil).

Filmmaker Gautham Menon has joined the cast of the upcoming pan-India film Michael. He will play the antagonist in the film. Michael also stars Sundeep Kishan and Vijay Sethupathi in significant roles. The filming is currently taking place at a brisk pace.

Sundeep Kishan took to his Twitter profile and welcomed Gautham Menon onboard. “Take pleasure in welcoming my guru and ace Director Gautham Menon as the antagonist in the world of Michael. Looking forward to learning from you once again, sir,” the actor tweeted. The actor had worked as an assistant director to Menon before making his acting debut with the 2010 film Sneha Geetham.

In the recent past, Menon has played pivotal characters in films as well as anthology series for streaming platforms. His notable films include the Malayalam film Trance (2020) and the Tamil film Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (2020). He also impressed audiences with his performance in the Tamil digital series Paava Kadhaigal (2020).

Michael is one of the keenly-awaited pan-India films. Ranjit Jeyakodi is directing the film for Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. It is jointly produced by Bharath Chowdary and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, and presented by Narayan Das K Narang.

Once ready, Michael will have a grand release in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
