Telugu Youth superstar Naga Chaitanya, who recently forayed in Bollywood with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha (2022) has received praises for his performance in the film. While promoting the film, the actor named the Bollywood actor he would want to see in the Hindi version of his film Tadakha (2013). The actor revealed that he chose Varun Dhawan for his movie Tadakha, which he defined as a commercial entertainer.

When asked in an interview who, in his opinion, would be best suited to play his role in the Hindi adaptation of Tadakha, Chaitanya responded, “Varun Dhawan because he is great in action. He dances really well, acts really well. I mean he is a complete package, and Tadakha is an out and out commercial entertainer.”

In the past, Naga Chaitanya had emphasized in an interview not to confuse Tadakha for a full-on action movie. The actor has stated to a news website, “Tadakha will attract audiences from all segments including the mass audiences. The action part is very fresh in this film.”

The Tamil popular movie Vettai (2012) was remade in Telugu as Tadakha, starring Arya and Madhavan. In addition to Naga Chaitanya, Tamannaah, Andrea Jeremiah, and Sunil all had significant roles in the movie. The movie, directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani, released in 2013.
