Nagarjuna and Chaitanya’s Bangarraju to release on Sankranti, replacing RRR and Radhe Shyam
It is a season of postponement for big films like RRR and Radhe Shyam. The two mega-budgeted films were supposed to release on 7th January and 14th January respectively, but due to increase in COVID-19 cases, these pan-India films have been postponed indefinitely.
After the postponement, recently Chaitanya Akkineni shared on Twitter that Tollywood’s most awaited father-son film Bangarraju will release on the occasion of Sankranti. Chaitanya shared a tweet with the release date poster of the movie, according to which the movie will release on 14th January.
In the poster, father-son fashioned the traditional ‘Pancha’ outfit. Chaitanya and Nagarjuna were riding the Royal Enfield ‘Bullet’ bike while wearing cool shades. Nagarjuna is keeping his one hand on son’s shoulder while resting the traditional stick on the shoulder. The duo looks absolutely dashing in the poster.
The movie is directed by Kalyan Krishna and has Ramya Krishnan, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji and Vennela Kishore in the important roles. It is produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under his home banner Annapurna Studios in association with the Zee Studios banner.
In the movie, Nagarjuna will once again land on the Earth with his magical powers and meet his wife Ramya Krishnan. Here Naga Chaitanya will be introduced as the clan of Bangarraju and he will be seen owning all the romantic and funny characteristics of Nagarjuna.
