Ponniyin Selvan 2 Poster Out! Featuring Jayam Ravi As Arulmozhi Varman, the Makers Reveal the First Look of the Film (View Post)
Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece ‘Ponniyin Selvan I’ featuring Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha Krishnan was a mega-blockbuster. As promised, the makers are set to release part 2 of the film this summer. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the makers to drop the trailer for the second installment. Today, Mr. Subaskaran Allirajah, the chairman of Lyca Productions which backs the film, celebrates his birthday. To mark his birthday, the makers have dropped a new poster for 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' which features the lead star, Jayam Ravi.
Jayam Ravi Dons An Intense Look In The Poster of 'PS2'
We see Jayam Ravi walking amongst a crowd in the newly unveiled poster. The actor plays the character of Raja Chola, also known as Arulmozhi Varman, in the film. Because he accidentally entered the Cauvery River, also known as Ponni Nadhi, and was subsequently "rescued" by the River Goddess, as seen at the conclusion of PS 1, he is also known as Ponniyin Selvan.
About Ponniyin Selvan 2
Vikram as Aditya Karikalan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini, Karthi as Vanthiyathevan, and Trisha as Kundavai will reprise their characters in the Ponniyin Selvan 2. Part two will also feature Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi in addition to them. The magnum opus is scheduled for a theatrical worldwide release on April 28, 2023. It will have its release in five languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
