Pooja Hegde bags the female lead in Puri Jagannadh's Jana Gana Mana; set to romance Vijay Deverakonda
The pan-India actress Pooja Hegde never stops making headlines! After getting a lot of recognition for her Cannes appearance, the actress is now back at work and has signed another big film. The Beast actress is all set to join hands with the makers of Jana Gana Mana.
After waiting for a long time, finally the makers have roped in Pooja Hegde to play the female lead of their film opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
Reportedly, the actress is currently gearing up for her first schedule of the shoot. She will begin filming her scenes in Mumbai from the first week of June.
Touted to be a pan-India film, the makers wish to release the film in at least five languages. According to sources, Puri Jagannadh is getting ready to bring Jana Gana Mana on the sets as it is in the pre-production stage.
Speaking of Pooja Hegde, the actress is in desperate need of a hit film as she has given a hat trick of flops. She had previously appeared in the Beast starring Vijay, Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas, and Acharya starring Ram Charan that did no wonders for her.
Meanwhile, she will also be seen alongside Mahesh Babu in the upcoming film SSMB28, directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
