Prabhas looks dashing at the pre-release event of Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Sita Ramam’
Prabhas in a recent appearance as a chief guest at the promotion for the upcoming film promotion chose comfort and made it fashion. The actor was at the Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Sita Ramam’ promotional event. Vyjayanthi Movies production house is financing both Dulquer Salmaan’s and Prabhas's next, which is ‘Project K’ alongside Deepika Padukone.
‘Sita Ramam’ also stars Mrunal Thakur who will be making her debut in the South film industry as Dulquer’s on-screen love interest. In the film ‘Sita Ramam’, Rashmika’s character is a Kashmiri Muslim named Afreen who narrates the love story between Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur's characters. Dulquer Salman will comprise the role of Lieutenant Ram, an army officer stationed in Kashmir while Mrunal will step into the shoes of Sita Mahalakshmi, his love interest. The film is a heart-touching love story against the backdrop of war. The film also stars Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Menon, Bhumika Chawla, Vennela Kishore, and Murali Sharma. ‘Sita Ramam’ is bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banner of Swapna Cinema. The film is presented by Vyjayanthi and is slated for release on the 5th of August.
Director Hanu Raghavapudi in a recent interview shared his view on being burdened by a multilingual film demand, "There's definitely no burden because the story is very strong. It's a story anybody can relate to, irrespective of the vernacular. Since the story is so easy for everybody to relate to (we could have gone for subtitles), but the release in each language is purely to provide and enhance each audiences' best experience of the world of Ram & Sita Mahalakshmi. Therefore, I don't feel a burden about it being a Pan India film."
