Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan to attend Mani Ratnam’s pre-release event for magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’
The much-awaited film ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ is a Mani Ratnam directorial and stars Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan and Jayaram Ravi. The makers have released the character posters of the film and white each poster the anticipation for the film has increased.
The promotion of the film will commence with the grand pre-release event organised on the 6th of September. The event will also be graced by the presence of megastars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan as chief guests. The makers have shared a video of the two megastars while making this announcement. Not long ago, the makers unveiled the look of actor Sobhita Dhulipala as Vanathi. They have also dropped the first look of Prakash Raj as Sundara Chozhar, Jayachitra as Sembiyan Maadevi, and Rahman as Madhurantakan, each dressed in historical looks and captivating gaze. The film is produced by Mani Ratnam and Allirajah Subaskaranunder under the banners of Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions and is slated to release in theatres on the 30th of September.
