Ram Charan gets a royal style welcome as he reaches Kurnool to shoot for 'RC15'
Ram Charan is undoubtedly one of the most popular and bankable stars with a pan India popularity- thanks to the blockbuster 'RRR'. The Telugu superstar, who is looking forward to his next titled 'RC15', was in for a pleasant surprise as he arrived in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool town to start filming for the project.
Fans welcome Ram Charan in Kurnool by 'flower shower'
As soon as fans got to know the Ram will be in town for shooting, there was a sort of euphoria among them. Giving him a truly memorable welcome, they showered flower petals on his car all along the way.
A huge crowd had also gathered to catch a glimpse of Ram Charan and the scene was truly ecstatic. The frenzy was only reflective of the cult status that the actor enjoys in the region.
'RC15' has been shot across multiple locations in India
Talking of 'RC15', the film is reportedly a political thriller and features Ram Charan in two different avatars. Directed by S. Shankar, it features Kiara Advani as the leading lady opposite him.
Supporting star cast of 'RC15' includes Anjali, Jayaram and Nassar, among others. RC 15 also marks the first cinematic collaboration between Ram Charan and Shankar.
Made on a whopping budget of Rs 170 crore, the film has been shot in Visakhapatnam, Punjab, Maharashtra and Hyderabad.
'RC15' is tentatively slated for release in the second half of 2023.
