GV Prakash Kumar is well known as a music director, and he has even received a National Award for his efforts on the 2020 film ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which stars Suriya. However, music is not his only ability; GV Prakash is also a well-known actor, having appeared in over 20 films.
It was previously announced that the music composer-turned-actor would next appear in the Tamil film ‘Rebel’, directed by rookie Nikesh RS. In the most recent update, actor Silambarasan TR published the film's first look post on social media.

The poster depicts GV Prakash's persona as tough. He's brandishing a Molotov cocktail in the middle of a big mob that appears to be fighting. The throng put up flags and placards, implying that he was also at a protest location. Simbu posted the photograph on his X (formerly Twitter) with the message, "Here's the #RebelFirstLook starring gvprakash!" Congratulations, GV brother! Best wishes to the team!"

About ‘Rebel’:
The whole cast and crew, as well as the narrative of the film, have yet to be revealed by the producers. Arun Radhakrishnan is in charge of the film's cinematography. Vetre Krishnan has been hired as the editor. GV Prakash is not only the major actor in the film, but he is also the composer. Studio Green is financing the film.

GV Prakash was most recently seen writing music for Ravi Teja's ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’, which was directed by Vamsee. He also appeared in the film ‘Adiyae’, which was released earlier this year.
