RRR Sequel: SS Rajamouli Discusses The Script's Development; See His Most Recent Remark Following His Oscar Victory!
The Naatu Naatu song won the Academy Awards for Best Original Song on Monday, and the new global phenomenon RRR made history by introducing India to the Oscar stage. In the presence of numerous Hollywood celebrities, the golden trophy was presented to the film's soundtrack composer, MM Keeravaani, and lyricist, Chandrabose. Along with the movie's stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, director SS Rajamouli attended the occasion. The Elephant Whisperers, one of the two Indian pictures to win an Oscar for best documentary short film, was the subject that received the most attention.
The RRR director, SS Rajamouli, and the music composer, MM Keeravaani, attended the Oscars following the Vanity Fair party after receiving the award. Hollywood trade publication Variety questioned RRR director SS Rajamouli on the red carpet of the event if the screenplay writing for the follow-up would move more quickly now that the movie has won an Oscar. In response, Rajamouli replied, “Obviously, Oscar win is going to put some acceleration in the script, definitely yes, let's see". The director initially claimed there would be no sequel after RRR's original release. A sequel to RRR is in the works, according to a 2017 announcement by the producers. In an interview, he admitted that the Oscar-winning music composer MM Keeravaani had shared a concept with him. ”Oh my god, this is a great idea. This is the idea that is worth pursuing," he said.
The group has now started right away on the follow-up.

By winning numerous honours globally, including the Golden Globe for Naatu Naatu and five awards from the Hollywood Film Critics Association, RRR has made history. The movie gained international attention after its Netflix premiere, and it most recently played to a packed theater in Los Angeles.
